A message from the Center Director, Shanita White
Established in 2009. Little Learner's/Academy of Innovations mission is to provide high quality childcare and educational experiences that promote cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development. Our professional staff and dedicated volunteers ensure that your child is provided with the best early childhood education in a safe, clean and kid friendly environment.
Hi everyone! I have been the Director and owner of our school since we opened this location in April of 2011. I received my undergrad degree from PennState University, my Director's Credential, PA Teaching Certificate and Master’s degree in Multi-cultural Education from Eastern University. In my free time I like to travel, try new foods, read and shop. I am extremely fortunate and passionate about owning and operating our amazing learning center. Please feel free to stop in and tour our center at any time!

Teachers hold a meeting with families when a child enrolls, provide daily updates on the child’s activities and hold at least two teacher conferences to share child’s progress each year.

Teachers assess children’s development three times a year, the first within 45 days of enrollment.

Teachers use the PA Early Learning standards to develop curriculum and learning activities.

Programs receive an independent evaluation of their classroom setup and learning activities using a standardized tool (Environment Rating Scale).

Program works with families and schools to make a smooth transition for children to kindergarten.

Staff complete continuing education each year.

Conferences
April 22nd-26th
The teaching staff at Little Learner’s takes this opportunity to invite you to a conference with your child’s teacher. The conference is held at this time for the purpose of increasing your understanding of your child's progress.
Conferences will be held the week of April 22, 2019. If you have not signed up for a conference appointment please sign the sheet located next to the daily sign-in sheet. If you have any questions please contact your child’s teacher.
